Danielle LeRiche-Forkey, MA
SPECIALTY: Children, Adult, Families, and Developmental Disabilities
Office in Wolcott only.
I primarily utilize the Humanistic and/or Psychodynamic approaches. I am also a Certified Level 2 EFT (Energy Freedom Technique) Practitioner, which works on tapping or stimulating pressure points to calm the body while feeling anxious, stressed, or pressured.
The focus of my practice is in working with individuals addressing trauma and attachment concerns. I am open to working with older adolescents (15+) and adults with similar difficulties as well. I have primary experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. The key components of my practice are ensuring confidentiality and effective communication to promote a safe environment to freely express oneself to explore one’s self, thoughts, emotions, and perspectives.
