I believe in connection building, and the importance of creating a safe, relaxed space for individuals to express their authentic selves. Utilizing a collaborative, humanistic approach, I offer different styles based on individual needs. How can we build upon your strengths, explore things you would like to improve on, all while honoring the authentic person within you? My work involves identifying your personal values and what is most meaningful to you to ensure you are living the life you aim to live.
Methods used include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, together with a broad range of strategies that support mindfulness, compassion, mind-body awareness: strategies to reauthor negative self-belief systems, and to help improve mind-body integration interpersonal connections. I have experience working with issues of anxiety, depression, eating and body image concerns, sexual assault, and gender exploration. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming for individuals and their families.
