I offer an integrative approach employing Somatic and Attachment-based counseling, Insight-oriented “talk” therapy, Cognitive-behavioral and Narrative therapies, along with Expressive Arts, Dreamwork and Gestalt. I work with Adults, Older teens, and Elders, who are seeking help with Relationships, Aging, Recovery from Abuse, Career Exploration, Life transitions, Anxiety, Stress, Depression. My Therapeutic Writing Groups provide an opportunity for building relational skills, self-esteem and confidence as well as enhancing writing skills.

In private practice 11 years. Residential counselor at a halfway house for young adults with chronic mental health issues 10 years. Counselor at six 40-day residential psychotherapy intensives for adults. Completed Trauma, Attachment & The Bodymind training. Numerous seminars and workshops to enhance and inform my work.
I believe that therapy needs to be aligned with the needs, readiness and learning process of the individual. I set goals with clients and review them periodically so that we have a map for our work together. In an atmosphere of respect and support, I collaborate with clients to make the changes necessary for them to move on with their lives.
